It was perfectly placed in Southwold for everything you need. The alleyway located close by made easy access to the High Street and the best coffee shop - Two Magpies Bakery. Although we discovered lots of nice eateries. The property is a cottage so there was a quaintness about it. We gave our daughter the master bedroom as we wanted the one with the bathroom close by. There was a generous supply of mugs, crockery and cutlery which isn’t always the case. The property was clean and very well presented and although you are unable to park permanently outside parking was not an issue even in the height of the summer. The house is filled with beautiful natural light thanks to its large windows, and the rooms are incredibly spacious, especially for Southwold. The beds were really comfortable, and we all slept so well. The kitchen is well equipped, and the living space is cosy with a big comfy sofa and a great selection of books.One of my favourite moments was enjoying a cuppa and reading my book in the peaceful courtyard. Our only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough, next time we’ll definitely book a full week!Communication was excellent throughout. Thank you, Charlotte, for making everything so seamless. We’ll be back for sure.Posted onVerified Lovely character cottage, which was decorated to a high standard and very clean. Cosy yet spacious and ideal for a family group. The location was great- in the next road to the High Street and 5 minutes from the beach yet quiet and peaceful. Very handy for popping to the shops for fresh items and visiting the local restaurants. We found free parking on a street nearby so that was not a problem. Plenty of hot water for everyone to shower at any time and the central heating was welcome as it was chilly on a couple of evenings during our stay. Would return. Thank you!Load more
